About Jackie
Jackie is a Family Nurse Practitioner who has dedicated her extensive training to provide an integrated health care approach. She has dedicated 10 years to academia from earning an associate degree in physiology, to completing a nursing degree, a Master’s in nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner and provincial certification for Opioid Agonist Therapy and Opioid prescribing for palliative patients.
Jackie worked for many years on the acute care, post-surgical and medical floor, and found her specialization in palliative care. After gaining exceptional care experience in a hospital setting, Jackie switched gears and became the medical coordinator at a residential treatment center. She is dedicated and believes in the superior primary care and mental health and addiction care Kinsley Medical Clinic & Health Centre is providing to its community members.

Kinsley Medical and Health Centre staff have been serving the Cowichan and surrounding communities since 2019 and are located in Duncan, BC. We are excited about our new name and look forward to continuing to serve you and your health care needs. Our team members are all local to the region of BC and we are happy to offer both virtual (in-home) and IN-person health care services to you and your loved ones.
We approach your health care from a wide lens, allowing for integration of your mental health, spiritual, emotional, physical, and cultural health. We will integrate your health goals into your health care plan and ensure you are guided along the entire process. We offer a multi-disciplinary referral process, ensuring you are connected to the right specialist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, counselor, or any exact specialty area you require.
We appreciate the long wait times in emergency rooms and walk-in clinics, we also acknowledge there are thousands of BC residents that do not have a primary care provider. That’s why we are here! We are a Nurse practitioner lead clinic and are happy to provide you with urgent or non-urgent health care needs, including longitudinal care through a lifetime.
We are here to give you the best possible services, so you leave healthier than you arrived, and with more options for good health. We work collaboratively and cooperatively to ensure you get the very best services, whatever your needs.
