Pete has been married for over 25 years, have 5 children and 5 grandchildren. Pete is a compassionate man who continually works to improve his relationship with others. Pete is a registered clinical counselor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counselors. He has worked for the last 14 years in the areas of addiction, homelessness, suicide intervention, grief and loss, domestic violence, and with many forms of trauma. Pete believe’s because you are—you have value. His therapeutic approach will be tailored to suit your needs with the understanding that you are unique, and your experiences are unique.
Dakova Health’s psychologist-led team provides assessment, diagnosis and counselling for a wide range of mental health concerns. Our staff deliver compassionate counselling and psychotherapy, using modalities such as: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and other evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches. We offer psychological assessments, including clinical needs assessments, ADHD assessments, assessments for autism spectrum disorder and comprehensive mental health assessments.
