Scalp Micropigmentation
What is SMP?
Scalp Micropigmentation is a non-invasive treatment that uses detailed micro-needles to deposit organic pigment into the scalp by creating tiny, layered dots to replicate the look of a shadow on your scalp. This style, referred to as pointillism, is done to create natural-looking depth and definition. The result gives the appearance of tiny hair follicles to help restore the look of fuller hair. It is a low maintenance, semi-permanent procedure that requires minimal upkeep and is for anyone,men or women, experiencing hair loss. Whether it is complete baldness, bald patches, scar camouflage or someone looking to add density between their existing hair.
How does the process work?
Consultation: The process begins with a consultation where we will discuss your individual hair loss concerns and customize a treatment plan based on your degree of hair loss and desired hairline. We will discuss precare and aftercare and I will answer any questions you have about the treatment.
Gradual Build-up: SMP is performed over multiple sessions to achieve a gradual and natural-looking result. Each session allows me to build up the density and coverage as needed. A typical treatment plan includes 2-4 sessions, with the majority being 3 sessions.
Aftercare & Precare:
After each session, you will need to follow specific aftercare instructions, such as avoiding direct sun exposure and refraining from vigorous physical activity. Precare includes a scalp health regime leading up to your sessions. All of these details will be discussed in your consultation appointment.
